We came across this place on accident as its hidden behind El Palenque and next to Hartz. I’m glad we decided on this place. The staff was very friendly and able to make recommendations to first timers. Did I mention breakfast all day!!! We had the Desayuno Love, Monterrey Street Tacks, and an order of pupusas. The food is absolutely made with love and very tasty. We will be definitely returning. I wish they would stay open later than 9p.

This hidden gem is located behind the Exxon station on the corner of Spring Cypress and 45. The restaurant is called La Patrona. They have a variety of delectable dishes to offer. This evening I was crossed between a bowl of seafood soup and a plate of carne guisada. I chose the carne guisada. The portions were more than enough and the food was delicious. There are other surprises that I'll let you experience. For the most part you will leave there with a full belly and satisfied. I really enjoyed my meal and the serrano sauce. Good luck to this place! I can honestly say we will be back soon
